In Review: April 2020 Recap

2020 has been…intense, exhausting, scary, and weird. I took a sabtatical from the blog last year, and reading as well…and it lasted a bit longer than I thought because the world decided to set itself. It’s been kind of rough. At the very end of March I started feeling the itch to pick up a book again, and now at the end of April I am feeling more like myself. I read a lot and enjoyed it, but I think I’m still on a bit of a hiatus from reviewing. I’ve mentioned it before but basically reviewing adds a level of stress to my hobby that I can’t deal with right now. I can talk about my books all day long, but sitting down to type out and edit those thoughts takes me energy than I have.

  1. I am so happy to finally find someone that also enjoys Inuyasha! I’ve only watched the anime, but I am hoping that my library has the manga to that I can start reading it!

  2. Wow, congrats on reading 17 books! I stopped writing “real” reviews for the same reason. They usually aren’t worth the stress. I hope you have a good May.
