Sunday Post #343

sunday post

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Happy Sunday! Another busy week come and gone. It’s been going fairly well on my end. Work is making the weeks fly buy since we are so busy with the summer crowd. I’m a crazy person apparently, but I am enjoying the heat we have right now. I’ll be sad when it turns to fall, but the pay off will be fewer screaming children and fewer adults who smell like all manner of foul things. I didn’t get to do much of anything during the week, as one off day was spent recouping from three days of work and the other was cut short when I got called into work again. I doubt I’ll be doing much today either as I’m exhausted from Saturday’s full day of work. Hopefully, I can get out and do something this week though.

  1. It finally cooled down here, but I know it’s not over because we can get some of our hottest temperatures in September. Ugh. I wish I liked hot weather like you do. 🔥

The 47 People You’ll Meet in Middle School is a great title. Ha ha. 👍✨

    Have a wonderful week. 💜✨

    • We tend to get our hottest temps around Labor Day. I handle heat really well, it’s humidity that kills me. I don’t like feeling closed in and humidity feels like I have something pressing in on me, it sucks. I basically shut down in the cold though. If I get cold enough to be uncomfortable my instinct is to go to sleep, so I have issues staying away no matter what time of day it is if it’s below 65.

I love the way you phrase things “fewer adults who smell like all manner of foul things. Lol! love it!

I hope you have a great week and enjoy your reads, Michelle. Here’s my Sunday Post

  3. The weeks do certainly seem to be passing in the blink of an eye! Before we know it Christmas will be on us!

    • Oh gosh, I hope not! I’m not ready for that at all! I’m barely ready for Halloween, and I adore that. It always seems like the years start out so slow. Jan and Feb of this year felt like a whole year in itself, and now I’m trying to hit the brakes.

  4. Greg says:

I imagine an art book from Legend of Zelda would be pretty cool- I love some of the environments and art I’ve seen from that game.

    • It’s a gorgeous book! There is so many pieces from the series I’ve never seen before like art put out in specific regions other than the US. They also have “sketches” for the promo images (which are legitimately fully finished pieces in their own right) and for the character designs and locations. If you are a fan of video game art it’s definitely one to look into to.

  5. I’m not a hot-weather girl, so I was relieved when it cooled down here — from near 100 F down into the 80s (a distinct improvement, if still not cool enough for my taste.) But it’s headed back up tomorrow, darn it!

Have a good week, and I hope you get a chance to do something just for fun!

    • I concede that anything over 95 is probably too hot, lol. But I don’t like any weather under 75, because it gets too cold on cloudy days and at night. We’re not to our hottest temps yet I don’t think, so I’ll have one last hurrah of glorious heat in September most likely.

      • There’s usually so much humidity here that even the 80s can be unbearable, at least if you’re doing any work or exercise outdoors. But then, I’ve never tolerated heat well. My ideal weather is between 55 and 72… basically, spring and fall. (Though I do love snow.)

  6. Hope this week treats you well!

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed it, leave a comment and tell me what you think.
