Sunday Post #333

sunday post

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Happy Sunday everyone! So this past week has been SUCH an improvement compared to the past few months, which I’m sure you guys are happy about because who the hell wants to read the same ol’ “life kind of sucks right now” updates all the time?

I started my new job at the library on Wednesday! Tuesday was supposed to be my first day, but Georgia decided to have a snow day…without any snow whatsoever. (We have been forever scarred by Snowmageddon and basically freak out anytime it might snow) It’s going great so far! It’s the first job I’ve had that I went into with very minimal anxiety issues, and went home at the end of the absolutely thrilled. I’m home, more so than when I had a bookstore.

I also got my hands on Kingdom Hearts 3, I have mixed feelings on it but I’m enjoying it overall. I’ve also spent a lot of time on the blog and have revamped it a bit, as you’ve probably noticed! I hope you guys like the changes, I think it just looks cleaner and not as blah.

I need to get Trail of Lightning, it just looks amazing. And hey congrats on the new job going well! I think working in a library would be awesome. I mean how could it not haha? Well it could, people being people, but anyway… glad it’s going well! 🙂

  2. CJR The Brit says:

Congrats on the new job! We had snow too and the country came to a standstill!!

  3. Gayathri Lakshminarayanan says:

I can understand the thing about snow day without snow, as we have those kinda days here at Dubai. Even today, we were all preparing for a rainy day and then it drizzled for like an hour. Weather has been weird right/?

  4. I’m glad your new job started well! We’ve had plenty of snow hysteria this week too… It’s funny really.

I like the new yellow background! Have a good week.

  5. Your job sounds great! That’s funny about the snow day though xD we have snow days daily, except we also don’t skip work and school xD (we just normally have a lot of snow, is all). Although there has been a lot of snow, more than usual, so the driving conditions do really suck.
Wishing you a great week 🙂

  6. Congrats on the new job. I had to laugh a bit on the snow day with no snow. I have relatives in Kentucky and that happens all the time there too and we make fun of them sometimes lol. enjoy your books.

  7. Beware Of The Reader says:

Congrats on what would be my dream job!!!! LOL

  8. Jinjer says:

Congrats on the library job!!!!! And you once ran / owned a bookstore???? Wow! Two dream jobs in one lifetime! LOL

So here’s a question that popped into my head. Do libraries have any rules about the hot new releases they get in? Like “NO you are not allowed to be first in line to read it.” Do you have to line up in the queue with the rest of us?

I remember my mom said her local librarian told her once that they read the books she donated before they put them out on the shelves for the customers. Not sure how I feel about that. LOL

  9. Yay that you love your new job! It’s amazing how it affects one’s outlook on life. 💜

    Have a wonderful week. 🌞

  10. I’m so excited to hear about the library. I reviewed Trail of Lightning this week. I liked it but didn’t love it. Have a great week – I think it’s going to be warmer and pleasant.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed it, leave a comment and tell me what you think.
