Sunday Post #328

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Happy Sunday! 2019 is just around the corner! I’m not really into the whole, 2019 will be different but I do enjoy fresh starts. New reading challenges, new books, and new goals!

I have another interview on the 2nd, this time at a library. It’s super part time unfortunately, but anything is better than nothing and I’ll at least get to spend time in a place I love. So here’s hoping.

My laptop bricked itself this past week, and I lost pretty much everything because apparently the auto-backup I THOUGHT was working…wasn’t. I had some issues getting back into the blog and had to contact support, but thankfully I have a replacement laptop that my mom was kind enough to let me use. It’s not the best time to have things break on me, but everything is doing it. (I just replaced a Xbox controller and my Kindle won’t charge…)

Books Read

  • Star Force: Lost Destiny by Aer-ki Jyr
  • All Systems Red by Martha Wells (Reread)

Last Week

Fairy Mom and Me by Sophie Kinsella (3 Star Review)

Good luck with the job thing! I feel like if one has to work at least a library is not as soul destroying lol as an office or whatever. 🙂

And sorry to hear about the laptop! Argh.

    I need that dinosaur book.

    • Definitely better than an office or standard retail! I have my heart set on doing something related to something I enjoy, so this will be nice even if I do end up having to find a 2nd job on top of it.

If you have an Audible membership the dinosaur book is in their 2 for 1 sale right now!

It seems as if it has mostly been a bookish week for you! It’s terrible about your laptop, and hopefully you have better luck on the other things (so they stop breaking among other unfortunate stuff). Good luck on the library job!

  3. Gayathri Lakshminarayanan says:

I hate every bit of technology giving up on me at the same time. All the best for your interview and have a great new year.

  4. Fingers crossed for the interview! What a lovely start to the New Year that would be. 🙂

  5. Northwoman says:

I can’t imagine a better place to work than a library. Part-time sometimes moves into full-time or you are there if another position opens. Good luck! Happy New Year! Anne – Books of My Heart
