Sunday Post #327

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

This has been a long slow trudge of a week. Two more days and everything fades back into normalcy! I have been sending out kindle books on Litsy to try and get into the whole Christmas spirit. It’s kind of working, plus that community is wonderful. Hardly ever any drama and everyone is super supportive.

I didn’t get the second job I interviewed for, so it’s back to sending off applications. I’ve sent off three in the past week, so here’s hoping!

Since I’ve been a ball of anxiety and depression I’ve been neck deep in music, reading, and games. The Christmas at Hogwarts readathon is still going but ends mid-week so I’m going to try and polish off all the prompts on the list now that I’ve made it to the end of the map.

Books Read

  • Not That Bad edited by Roxane Gay
  • Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco
  • Fairy Mom and Me by Sophie Kinsella
  • Saga Vol. 8 (Graphic Novel)
  • Obi-Wan and Anakin (Graphic Novel)

Solo by Mur Lafferty *sputter* ??? Wow I had no idea. And it’s 1.99 on Kindle at the moment I see. Holy cats!!! Merry christmas I guess lolol.

I love Christmas but thre’s something to be said for the normalcy that returns after the holidays, I agree. 🙂

Saga I gave up on a while back but maybe I should start up again.

    • Merry Christmas! Lol! It’s always nice to help someone find a book or two!
Christmas is a hard holiday for me personally, it takes a ton out of me.

NOO! Don’t go back to it! *waves hands wildly* lol! I still hate the series, I just always end up needing a quick read for weird prompts and Saga always seems to fit. It really hasn’t changed all that much, it has the same formula at any rate.

  2. I love Litsy too, although somehow I can’t get involved into yet another social media (I think I have too many social medias now anyway xD)
    Wishing you happy holidays!

  3. Fingers crossed for the new batch of applications! Hopefully, 2019 is a better year for you.
I hope you have a lovely Christmas.

  4. Too bad about the job! It’s hard finding the right job, but it generally works out in the end. Good luck!

I hope that you’ll get a wonderful job soon enough! Sending you all the Christmassey vibes that I can.
