What a long week! It wasn’t bad just really long! I got a bit more reading done this week, but my November numbers are dismal (for me). I didn’t even break the double digits for the number of books read, which is something that rarely ever happens. But I’m honestly just glad I got any reading done at all. SciFi Month ended this past week as well and I’m so glad I decided to join in. It was a lot of fun coming up with post content and I miss that aspect of blogging sometimes.
I’m still watching a lot of stuff on Netflix. I saw Close Encounters of the Third Kind for the first time and I’m so confused by the tone in that one. It’s so upbeat but some awful things happened, yet no one seems all that upset. I also watched the animated show The Dragon Prince, and really enjoyed it! The animation is a bit choppy but it’s got a ton going for it and I’m excited to see where the second season takes us.Β

I need to get Fire and Blood this week. I want to read it so bad- I need a Westeros fix I guess. π
Close encounters is weird for me- like parts of it I like, but yeah it kinda changes from trying to be all scary and mysterious in the beginning (I mean a kid is abducted???) but then at the end they’re “nice” aliens. I guess. I don’t know.
I still need to finish the actual series, heh. I stopped on A Feast of Crows because none of my favorite characters are in it and I couldn’t mentally handle a 600+ page novel with at least one character I adored, so I paused the series.
That’s pretty much exactly how I feel about the movie. It’s just a bit all over the place.
I LOVED the Three Body Problem. That is in my top ten of faves of all time.
Fantastic! I’m glad to hear that, I have high hopes for it!
I totally need to get on board with Lord of the Rings. A recommended show to watch would be A Million Little Things. #SundayPost
YOu have some books for reviews that have amazing covers. I am glad at least you had time to read. Have a great week ahead.
I was going to get Fire and Blood for my son for Yule, but I am giving him a hardcover of The Ice Dragon. π²
I love the cover of Are You Ready to Hatch and Unusual Egg..π
I very rarely read into the double digits. My reading rhythm seems to have fallen into eight books a month. π
Sorry I am getting here so late. π’
No worries! I’m always late getting to posts.
I really need to try out The Ice Dragon. I’ve really only read half of the Ice and Fire series, and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. I adore Knight though, I could read a full series about Duncan and Egg.
