Sunday Post #319

Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Happy Sunday! Here’s hoping today provides some respite from the world and any stress you might have. I plan to avoid the internet, new, and 99% of the people I know today and just relax. It’s been a very rough week for me mentally, and with the current events of the past week it’s just spiraled downward. So I need that break and the fun that my D&D group will bring. If anyone else out there is struggling please take care of yourself this week, take some time to yourself, and do something you enjoy even if it’s just sitting somewhere quiet with a cup of tea. And if you need someone to talk to please feel free to send me an email through the contact form or on one of my social media pages.

Well said Michelle. And hope you have a great D&D game. 🙂

  2. I hope the unplugging is going well! I did that last Sunday, it was much needed.

  3. Gayathri Lakshminarayanan says:

Unplugging sounds too alluring now but I cannot for the day as I have to blog hop for now.

  4. Unplugging would be good right now. The internet and the news have been exhausting this week. Enjoy your new books!

  5. I really want to read Akata Witch. 📚✨

I just bought a hardcover if The Hazel Wood. I loved it and had to have it on my shelf. 👍✨

On top of everything else, I found our that one of the indie authors I have been promoting for a long time is a Republican when she put an anti-Democrat voting meme up on her Facebook. I don’t know what to do or say. She has a disabled daughter and wrote a book about disabled kids, but I guess she ‘s one of those people who have good insurance and doesn’t give a shit about the rest if us. 😒

I hope you are having a better week. 🌞

I hope you got the break you needed. I’m trying to hang in there – I just have 6 more days on my current job, then I’m retiring. I normally only work 24-30 hours a week but for my last 2 weeks they scheduled me for 40 each week! So I’m a little stressed. My daughter has medical issues so this week for example she has 3 appointments. But between last Saturday and this Friday I only have 1 day off – Monday. So it’s a crazy week. I am enjoying my books though! Anne – Books of My Heart

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed it, leave a comment and tell me what you think.
