The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
Happy Sunday! It’s been a somewhat rough week for me, but I’m trying to keep my head up as much as I can. Still no word back on any of the jobs I’ve applied for. I have read a lot more this week than I did last week…but of course, none of them are the books I should be reading right now. I’ll have to crack down a bit and get to my review copies this week.
Books Read
- The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers
- On a Pale Horse by Piers Anthony
- The Drowning Eyes by Emily Foster (Novella)

- Pillow Thoughts by Courtney Peppernell
- Down Among the Sticks and Bones by Seanan McGuire (Novella)

I see on your sidebar you are currently reading Shadow of the Fox by Julie Kagawa! I have it on my kindle and I am so sick of reading from my kindle lol. I hope you let us know what you think of it.
I can understand that. I always have switch up formats or I get really bored with it. I’ll definitely let everyone know my thoughts! So far I am enjoying it but I’m not very far in.
Oh, that’s good. Currently, I am listening to Magic Bites on audio. It is good so far.
Seven books read in one week??? WOW!
Is Scribd like Libby? An app for your library? You did fantastic reading. I just know the right job is out there.
It’s kind of like a book version of Netflix. It’s a monthly subscription and you get unlimited audios/ebooks to read. Books go in and out of availability depending on licenses but so far it’s been worth it.
I really hope so Kim. At this point I’d welcome anything.
I do that sometimes- end up reading something when I should be reading something ELSE. It’s a problem. 🙂
Hope you have a better week ahead.
Pip Bartlett’s Guide to Magical Creatures looks interesting!
