Sunday Post #307

Sunday Post

The Sunday PostΒ is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Oh, what a week guys. I’m currently running on about two-ish hours of sleep partially due to trying to get through a book and partially because my pharmacy dropped the ball on my refills. I am also trying to update my resume and send out applications so I can try to make this whole job change thing as smooth as possible. I’ll be honest, I’m not in a good place mentally right now. So I’m just trying to focus on what I can and push through, it’s just a bit…monumental at the moment. If I can’t handle I will get myself into the dr. for either a boost in medications or discussion on how I can move forward.

In much better news! I have just put together and sent out my Tolkien themed swap to the person I was paired up with. She has never read a Tolkien book before, so in addition to two of his books I also included an assortment of LOTR/Hobbit themed goodies. AND I finished the book I chose for the Litsy Markup Postal Book Club and sent it off to the next person! I can’t wait to see which book the other three ladies are going to send over the next few months. Oh! And I’m officially 28 now! My birthday (and my boyfriends) was on Thursday.

Sorry to hear about the pharmacy screw up! In my experience that’s not exactly rare. πŸ™‚ At least around here. And how cool about the Tolkien thing! That sounds like fun.

    Medusa Uploaded looks fun too.

Hope you have a great weekend Michelle!

    • Not rare in the slightest…they have screwed up before, but never on the one pill, I need to actually be human. I’m just glad it’s fixed because 4 days without has kicked my butt!
The Tolkien box was a ton of fun! It’s something really out of my comfort zone because I’m really really picky about the gifts I give, but it was so much fun.

And Medusa Uploaded was fun! It deals with harder topics but somehow managed to stay somewhat upbeat in an odd way.

The Litsy markup postal sounds intriguing. Is it US only? How do you like Litsy? I’ve got Goodreads and wasn’t sure whether to get a Litsy acn too.

I love book exchanges. I’ve been a part of a birthday book club for many years now. It’s always fun to send off books to others and to enjoy that wonderful big birthday month yourself.
