Sunday Post #286

Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Another long week down. I did have more good days than bad this week thankfully. We had dentist appointments again this week but I didn’t have much else to do. Unfortunately, we both got food poisoning on Friday, and spent much of Saturday doing nothing but recovering. But overall it’s been a relaxing week.

My cat has discovered that he likes to be outside after I took him into the backyard on a leash, and now spends much of his time sitting on the windowsill. He didn’t have an interest in looking out until he saw it first hand, now he’s somewhat obsessed. He has days where I can tell he is moving past his kitten behavior and days where he’s entirely too much. I’m hoping that once he’s fixed in a few months that some of the hardheadedness and lingering aggression with calm down.

Books Read

  • A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin
  • Smith of Wotten Major by J.R.R Tolkien
  • Farmer Giles of Ham by J.R.R. Tolkien
  • Leaf by Niggle by J.R.R. Tolkien
  • On Fairy Stories by J.R.R. Tolkien

Only one post again…I’m having trouble sitting down and getting my thoughts out.

Food poisoning? Ack!! How awful. Hope you guys are feeling better by now… I’ve only had it once but it was BAD, I was sick as a dog lol.

Wow you’re on a Tolkien roll! I need to read more of his stuff as I’ve only read LotR and Unfinished Tales.

*nods* about the cat. We just got our newest one fixed on Friday and she’s recovering this weekend, poor thing- she’s pretty lethargic and clearly not happy but I think she’s doing a little better. Yesterday she didn’t want to do ANY THING

  2. Glad you both are feeling better.

I hope you will enjoy Dune!! And I hope you are feeling better after food poisoning – that’s one of the things I hate the most.

My cat has no interest in the outside. He sits at the window, but when we took him outside he is too anxious to enjoy it.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed it, leave a comment and tell me what you think.
