Finished
- Seduction by Brenda Joyce – I finished this one at work last week, but totally forgot that I did because of everything that happened. It was a good one though. Fairly fluffy at times with the added benefit of having the French Revolution as a backdrop.
Currently Reading
- Salt. by Nayyirah Waheed – This is a collection of poems that cover everything from love to ethnicity. So far I’m enjoying it. It’s not something that can be considered an ‘easy’ read, even with the small poems and lower page count.
- Beren and Luthien by J.R.R. Tolkien – So I haven’t read any of this all week because of the death of my grandmother, my adopting a kitten, and Christmas activities. my brain was fried, to say the least. I plan to do some catch-up today and hopefully get back on track.
Hope Beren and Luthien turns out good. It’s funny, as big a Tolkien fan as I am, I only know the story from my one read through of The Silmarillion, and that was years ago. I should get it.
I thought I was a huge fan but never really felt the desire to delve into all the other histories. But I’m glad I decided to join the readalong, all of the books have read so differently from each other.
Again, apologies for not getting back to comment in a timely manner. Thanks for TMTing! 💜
