Sunday Post #276

Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

This week was a long one. We were in the very midst of holiday gift buying as we are on the fulfillment side of the business and it made me realize that people wait entirely too late in the year to buy Christmas presents. Like…why? I’m pretty sure we all lost a bit of sanity just trying to fill orders (some of which were entirely too large) and get them shipped before the deadline. So word of advice…if you are ordering something that requires people to literally make it for you, please order well before you need it. I’m exhausted.

My Christmas shopping finished officially last week as I had a replacement gift to buy, and I’m ready for this whole season to be done. By the time the actual holiday gets here I’m going to be so tired I’ll probably try to find a quiet place and bed down instead of messing with my presents.

  1. Haha, guilty… I also bought my gifts like two days ago. But there was just no time. In my defense, I bought them at a simple grocery store mall xD so nothing out of the ordinary, at least.
    Have a great week!

  2. Working in retail at Christmas is no fun. I do Christmas Craft fairs and am exhausted from it all. People are crazy this time of year!

  3. LOL, I have all my gifts shipped that needed shipping. I have to finish purchases this week only because we have been ill, but I it is only for one person. Crap and stocking stuffers..oops.

Christmas can be exhausting! Hope yours is a good one though. Are you seeing the new Star Wars movie? I saw it and had… mixed feelings. I hope people like it more than I did lol.

    Have a good week!

  5. I bought some of my handmade gifts around Thanksgiving, and they still aren’t here. Hopefully they’ll get here before Christmas. Have a great week!

  6. Spend Christmas curled up with a good book and recharge yourself. Hang in there, the season is almost over. 🙂

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed it, leave a comment and tell me what you think.
