Sunday Post #273

Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I hope everyone had a good week, and that those who celebrated Thanksgiving had a wonderful holiday. I had a decent week which ended in a four day weekend. I did most of my shopping over the course of last week and only have about three or four things to buy. I’m so ready for it to be done though so it can stop eating into my paycheck (and I really haven’t purchased anything expensive…) The loan thing is at a halt until we can scrounge up all the extra documentation they want, and look at the estimates they sent to us. I’m ready for that to be done with as well. Nothing like having a stranger examine your life and offer criticism like they can tell everything from six pages of basic info.

So yeah, the four day weekend was much needed. I vegged out and recovered all the energy I spent dealing with other people. There were a lot of video games, graphic novels, and netflix involved.

Books Read

  • Beezus and Ramona by Beverly Cleary
  • The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien
  • Chew Vol. 2: International Tastes (Graphic Novel)
  • Monstress Vol. 1: Awakening (Graphic Novel)

Sorry to hear about the loan process – it’s a miserable busines:(. I know exactly how you feel about recharging and refuelling by reading and watching… Hope you are now revitalised and ready to face the world again. I LOVED Adrian Tchaikovsky’s Children of Time and am looking forward to hearing what you make of it:). In the meantime, have a great week. My Sunday Post –
