Sunday Post #265

Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

This week has flown by, thankfully. It’s been a slightly stressful one, and I’m enjoying the free time this weekend as much as I can. We got an SNES Classic on Friday and I plan to spend a few hours playing some old games and vegging out. I’ve been watching a lot of anime lately as well as a lot of Mystery Science Theater 3000. It’s been key to turning my brain off for a few hours.

Books Read

  • Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin
  • Black Canary Vol. 1: Kicking and Screaming (Graphic Novel)
  • Magic Knight Rayearth II Vol. 2 (Manga)
  • Magic Knight Rayearth II Vol. 3 (Manga)

Last Week

Tell Me Tuesday #47

American Fire by Monica Hesse (4 Star Review)

Those Star Wars novels look like promising reads. Have a great week! 🙂

  3. I hope you enjoy your books this week. Have a wonderful week and happy reading. 😁

  4. You got a SNES, that sounds great 🙂 which games did you get?

  5. I really need to read Pride and Prejudice at some point. I’ve watched a million adaptations but the one and only time I tried to read it I couldn’t get through it! :/ It was a long time ago, so maybe it’s time to try again.

  6. Annemieke says:

Hope there will be less stress next week. You got Monstress. Still curious about that one!

  7. I’ve heard a lot about Monstress (mostly good.) I hope you enjoy it! And I’m sorry you had a stressful week. Here’s to a better one next week!

  8. Is the SNES that self-contained player? I love watching anime to decompress. I hope you are having a stressless start to this week. 🙂

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed it, leave a comment and tell me what you think.
