Tell Me Tuesday #43

Hosted by La La in the Library

  • Sleeping Giants by Slyvain Neuvel – Goodreads – I finished this in one day while I was at work. It was so addicting! I had no idea that it was a case files type of book, and I’m glad I took the chance on it because the audio was so well done.
  • Ninefox Gambit by Yoon Ha Lee – Goodreads – I didn’t really enjoy this one. It’s a super dense book and the world building is almost non-existent.
  • I’d Rather Be A Witch by Erin Hayes – Goodreads – This was so much fun! I’ve read one other in this series and it was really cutesy but this one really pulled me in. It’s a bit darker than the first one.

Current Reads

  • Battlefront II: Inferno Squad by Christie Golden – Goodreads – My current buddy read with my boyfriend. So far it’s pretty good.
  • The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien – Goodreads – We started this one yesterday! This is for the #lotrChapteraDay read along on Litsy, and is a re-read for me!
  • Outsystem by M.D. Cooper – Goodreads – I’m still working on this one. I decided to just buy it on audible because I don’t really like being attached to my laptop or a cd player. This way I can just binge listen wherever I am.

  1. Sleeping Giants sounds really interesting! I love the LOTR books. I should do a re-read soon. Have a great week!

  2. Greg says:

I haven’t read LotR in so long! And I should read the next Sleeping Giants book to see what happens next…

  3. How did I skip coming here last week! Yikes! I have Sleeping Giants, too. Thanks for TMTing!

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed it, leave a comment and tell me what you think.
