The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
This week has a bit slower but it’s been pretty good. The Eclipse was Monday and my boss was awesome enough to provide glasses for us so we could go outside to see it. We were only 98% totality, so it didn’t get dark here but it was still really neat to see. I’ve started using my new planner in earnest this week as my first set of planner stickers arrived on Friday…it’s already making me more productive, though admittedly for the wrong reasons. I made Dr. appt. I’ve been putting off for months because I wanted to use the doctor sticker I had. Seriously, I was so miffed at not having anything to do that week that I actually made an appt so I’d have some thing to write down. I even have blog posts scheduled ahead of time…which I haven’t done in months. I wrote a review just so I could use the blocks I’ve set aside for them. *rolls eyes* My brain is motivated by the dumbest of things. Whatever works I guess.

Book Haul

An Atlas of Tolkien by David Day (Purchased)
- Not Pictured: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling (Italian Hardcover)
I saw the Italian cover on your Facebook. It’s gorgeous. I love the cover of the Tolkien atlas, too. Your boss sounds wonderful. Stickers are fun, ha ha. Have a fabulous week. 🙂
I love the Italian editions so much. They have quirky little illustrations throughout that barely fit the story, but somehow work.
My boss is actually an old friend of mine and my manager is her mom, so it’s super relaxed and we all get along really well.
Yeah, I was trying to figure out why Harry was wearing a mouse head hat on the cover, but who cares because it is really whimsical. 🙂
Yay for stickers? 🙂 And an Atlas of Tolkien- ooh I need to look into that!
Right? You would think as an adult something more understandable would motivate me to do things I need to do…NOPE, stickers. I’m a 5-year-old in a 27-year-old body.
The Atlas is pretty cool, but I should point out that it is not filled with maps as one would expect. It’s more of an Atlas for the lore, like explanations of Eru and other stories. No spoilers for the actual books though, so that’s pretty cool.
Your post made me smile. Maybe I need to get a planner and stickers to get myself motivated to do some things.
Have a great week!
My Sunday Post
Happy to be of service, lol! I hope you have had a great week as well!
ONLY 98%? Pfft, we has like 18%. ;( Hope you have plenty to add to your journal! 🙂
That is too funny about the Dr. Sticker. Hey, whatever motivates you right? Now I want a sticker.
