So we watched the pilot of The Shannara Chronicles when it debuted…we kind of hated it. But I wanted to try it again, because this seemed like a show I could get used to if done right. I figured since I’m a huge fantasy lover, I was the target audience. NOPE! Not even close. It’s basically a teen drama with a side of fantasy. The story is there, but they waste so much time with love-triangles that they lose time and direction. I finished out the season, but I doubt I’ll be continuing it when the second one comes out.

Finally caught up with the season again! We’ll probably be watching ever Sunday instead of the Friday it comes out, but so far it’s worth the wait.
