Cutex Nail Polish Remover Pads

#SoCutex #HeathlyNails

You can see a video of me using them here – Instagram

I received these in my last box as well, and my opinion has not changed at all…if anything I’m loving them even more because I can’t for the life of me find any in the stores near me. They are usually all sold out. These are individually wrapped pads soaked in acetone and natural oils that you use to quickly remove nail polish without the mess and extra steps. Just rip one open, and use the pad for all ten nails. It’s that simple and that easy, AND the acetone smell is really tame thanks to the addition of the other oils which give it a more pleasant smell overall and it seems to be better for the cuticles and skin around my nails. Definitely a YES from me.

Secret Outlast Deodorant

I’m kind of picky about my deodorant because my skin is sensitive and I have anxiety…so stress sweat is thing…on a daily basis, over the stupidest crap. So I need something that smells good, will last, AND doesn’t randomly start to smell like I have flowers bloom under my shirt. This does most of that, it lasts for a while…but again, stress sweat, which is a not really the same as normal sweat. So this did a pretty good job during my 3 mile walks in 80-90 degree weather, but didn’t really hold up under the “dear god, this person is talking to me…what the hell do I do” moments in my day.

Sunbelt Bakery Granola Bar: Fudge Dipped Chocolate Chip

If you want some yummy-ness in your life, you need not look farther than this little gem. I love chocolate covered anything, so maybe it’s not a surprise that I ended up LOVING this granola bar. I don’t really think it’s touted at truly healthy, which is a relief because we get real chocolate and the added bonus of no preservatives being added even though it tastes completely fresh…and I didn’t eat the day the box arrived…not even in the same week. These are on my grocery list!

Not Your Mother’s Plump for Joy

Fun fact: my hair is naturally huge. It has these kinky little curls and takes up about a half a foot around my head in it’s natural state…think of those just add water inventions, where one little drop of water turns this tiny amount of something into something overwhelming and you have my hair. So needless to say, this product is not for me. I did try it…because why the hell not so I can tell you this. It smells AMAZING and it does add more volume. Now I’m not sure how much volume, given the state of my hair already, but trust me my hair did get bigger so I’m lead to believe that it probably works great for those with thin or limp hair.

NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil

So I wasn’t sure what to do with this when I got it, since most of the bottle was in french and didn’t come in a box or anything. I did see that it was multi-purpose so I chose to use it on my hair first. My hair needs oil to stay healthy, and it dries out quickly since I use a straightener on it a few times a week. This stuff works wonders. You only need a few drops max, even with hair as big as mine. Just work it in, brush it through, and you get this nicely hydrated hair with a great sheen. And I did notice from using it that it really works great on your skin as well, my hands were super soft afterwards and as an added bonus it doesn’t just linger on your skin. It absorbs in and dries very quickly.

Sinful Colors – Sinful Shine – VIP Nail Polish

VIP

I’m a secret nail polish fiend. I have a steadily growing collection, and a good number of them are from Sinful Colors. I’m already a fan of theirs, but I had yet to try out their new Gel Tech colors…which are formulas designed to give that gel nail polish look and feel without the step of UV lighting. I received the color VIP, which isn’t my go to shade…I tend to stay away from pinks (I hate pink…) but I actually really liked the way it looked against my skin and the polish was surprisingly sturdy. This one was a thinner formula so I had to do two to three coats on each nail to get that fully covered feel to it, but it doesn’t look that bad when it’s sheer either. I’m definitely going to grab some more colors from this line in the future.
