Tell Me Tuesday #6

Hosted by La La in the Library

Tell Me Tueday is a feature devoted to letting people know what you’re reading ,what you read last, and what you plan on reading.

Last Read

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K.. Rowling – Goodreads

There is an HP Summer Reading challenge going on right now that I’m a part of, unfortunately I fell a bit behind because I haven’t really been interested in books these past few weeks. So this past week was for catch up. I’ve also been taking notes, just so I can keep up with the same little instances of foreshadowing and character analysis.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling – Goodreads

It’s been a few years since I read this one and I’m surprised at how much I didn’t remember. My boyfriend is also reading the HP books this summer, so it’s been a lot of fun to point out details to each other and speculating on the characters. I can honestly say I didn’t miss Gilderoy Lockhart…I’m having trouble remembering why I felt bad for him and where he ends up, because by the end of this I couldn’t wait for it to happen. Such a tool.

Reading Now

The Girls from Alcyone by Cary Caffrey – Goodreads

Hoping to finish this up either tonight or tomorrow. It’s really good I just can’t focus, it seems.

Up Next

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban – Goodreads

In addition to the three review novels I posted before, I have this one lined up. I’m hoping to get through it quickly, even with the note taking, so that I can start Goblet of Fire and get back on schedule.

  1. I had been planning on doing a Sorcerer’s Stone re-read with my Illustrated edition, too, but I wanted to leaf through it and look at the illustrations wirh my son first. It doesn’t look like that is goiing to happen, so I guess I will read it during my summer vacation. Maybe I can still snag him to sit down with me before then. Thank you for TMTing! 🙂

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed it, leave a comment and tell me what you think.
