The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. ~ Inspired by the meme In My Mailbox.~ It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
Accidentally had another break from the blog..I really did try to type up my reviews, but after staring at a blank post and coming up with absolutely nothing to say I just gave up. The weather here is more summer than spring, but I’ve been enjoying it at ton and it’s making our walking/running that much better. My HRC Umbridge medal came in, and it is gigantic! (There is a picture on my Instagram) The best part is that the kitten picture is one of those “moving” images.
Sometime Thursday evening or early Friday, my cat had what they are calling a mild traumatic neurological attack (i.e. a stroke). We got her into the vet and they gave her a steroid shot to reduce any inflammation she may have had around her brain, and she’s doing much better. But it was definitely a scary moment. If you notice your cat suddenly become clumsy, wander aimlessly in circles, and/or begin following along the walls of your house it’s definitely something you should take note of and get them to a vet as soon as you can.
Books Read
Nothing…*sigh*

I wish it would warm up here, I’ll take some of your warm weather if you can spare it. 🙂 It was only 50 here today sigh.
Sorry to hear about your cat! How scary… I’ve got an older cat who’s starting to have health problems and it sucks. Good luck and I hope she makes a full recovery.
Georgia has enough heat to go around, and I’d share if I could. It comes with humidity though…like…really horrible humidity.
It really does suck. This isn’t my first time watching a cat’s health teeter back and forth, but it never gets any easier to deal with. She seems to be back her normal self, so I’m hoping that she doesn’t have to go through something like that ever again.
Aww… hugs to kitty. That’s scary. Good to hear she is doing better I had zero books read the week before last and one blog post other than The Sunday Post. The Umbridge medal is very pink, too! I love the look of the wonderland coloring book. I hope kitty continues to get better. I also forgot to send out your bookmarks. I will do that tomorrow. Have a wonderful week. 🙂
Definitely! She’s almost back to her old self. And the medal is SUPER pink…I hate pink and I hate Umbridge, but I love that medal so much. 😛 So far i’m really enjoying the Wonderland coloring book, it has it’s meh pages but for the most part they all look really fun.
Thanks for stopping by La La, and no rush on the bookmarks!
I hate pink, too. 😛
Wow that medal is HUGE!!! It is 47 here and rainy. With a real feel of 31 my RA is killing me. So sorry about kitty..oh my! Hope the week ahead is good and you manage some blogging too 🙂
YES! It covers most of my face, lol. I hope it clears up and gets a bit warmer over there for you, that is way too cold for May.
It sounds like you’ve had a busy week without doing any reading. I think that’s something we need every so often. Time to catch up on other stuff or just down-time!
I agree! Sometimes reading seems like more work added onto the pile, so it’s nice to sort of push to the side on occasion. That being said, I need a vacation, lol!
So scary about your cat, I’m glad she is doing better now. I saw the medal on IG and loved it!
