Flix Friday is a feature where I will share what I’ve been watching each week.
Tv Shows
It took Netflix a while to get the second season of Young Justice and then by the time I did I had stopped binge watching stuff…but I’m back at it with the Invasion season and loving it! The characters are older than the first season and the line up has changed out a bit, but it’s good to see Grayson as Nightwing and Beast Boy. It’s a fantastic series, so if you haven’t watched it I really recommend it.
Movie
It’s been a DC kind of week apparently, well DC animation at any rate. For the most part JL vs TT is a great movie, introducing some more awesome characters to the DC animated universe line up that they started. Unlike the old Teen Titans cartoon this line up features Damion Wayne as Robin, with an older Starfire at the lead and Blue Beetle. It’s really great to see how Damion interacts with heroes his own age, as well as seeing them pitted against the big league. There were only a few moments of eye-roll inducing (sailor moon transformations…really?) but those are easily forgiven because of the odd ship they introduced.
