Sunday Post (198)

Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I’m back to blogging, and busy trying to catch up on reading so I can get ahead again at some point. I signed up for another Hogwarts Running Club race yesterday, and I’ll probably portion it all out again like I did with the last one but I desperately need to get into a decent place when it comes to physical activity. I don’t have to move around while at work, so it’s 8 hours of me sitting on the computer or reading, and my legs are not particularly happy about it anymore. The pollen is killing me this year though, and as much as I want to be outside…it’s like voluntarily submitted myself to non-stop itchy eyes and sneezing.

  1. Yay for all the Harry Potter editions! The cover Art for Jughead is priceless. I will be looking for that review. We figured out that whatever my son was uber-allergic to the last couple of years is on campus at this college. Since he took a year off to work he has been basically okay with just over the counter medicine. I hope whatever gets to your eyes and nose so badly quits spewing pollen soon. You should wear a nose and mouth mask and wrap around sunglasses when you are outside. Covering your hair is s must too because you bring the pollen inside with you. My son’s doctor said to change clothes once you get inside, too. I know it sounds like a pain in the ass, but it does help. Have a wonderful week. 🙂

    • It’s gotten a bit better thanks to the rain we’ve been getting, so I haven’t had as many days where breathing is impossible. I’ve been trying to make sure to change clothes as well, but with two dogs that spend a lot of time keeping pollen outside is almost impossible.

      Thanks for dropping by!

  2. I am happy Melanie Karsak books are coming to audio and look forward to your review. Love the Potter event and yes allergy season is brutal! Have a fantastic week and welcome back!

  3. Greg says:

Yeah it sucks to get sick in the spring when all the crap comes out. Hope you feel better… my sister has asthma and it gets bad.

Silicon Dawn looks great, love that cover!

  4. Deborah says:

Well done on signing up for a marathon! I’ve been beyond slack for a couple of years now and struggling to get motivated. And like you I spend ages at my desk.

Sorry to hear about your allergies – I hope they pass soon!

    • It’s really hard to get up and get started, it really is. It’s kind of tough for me to find motivation to do much of anything (thanks to a little cloud called depression) so if I can find something that holds me accountable (like a Fitbit) or is close to my heart like a Harry Potter themed group, then I make sure to do them.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed it, leave a comment and tell me what you think.
