The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. ~ Inspired by the meme In My Mailbox.~ It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog
This week has been a trying one for several reasons, but the one that basically sums up all of them is: Humans. We are capable of some of the coolest things ever, I mean we have people living in space right now. But then you look at what we do on a daily basis and it’s a miracle we’ve lasted this long. I also dealt with a racist and a religious bigot this week. Humanity is exhausting.
Needless to say I’ve been immersed in music, video games, and books. I read like 30 children’s picture books this week, just because business has been so slow and I’ve been bored out of my mind. Here’s hoping this week is like 100 times better than last week, and that everyone can focus on being civil and nice to each other for a change.

I’m helping you hope that this coming week people will be better.
You got some great books. I just finished Winter this week. 🙂
Have a great week!
I need to get started on it soon! I’m dying to know how it ends.
I’m with ya, sista. Humans suck. They’re the first thing I’m getting rid of when I take over the world.
Woohoo for November 9 and Nuts!
Keen to hear what you thought of Illuminae. And completely with you on the people front. I really should stay away from social media sometimes cos racists and homophobes and the like just annoy the crap out of me!
My review is up today, if you’re interested. And yeah, I’ve blocked most of the negativity on my feed but these were both in person issues which I can’t avoid at all.
Great additions this week! I loved November 9 and really enjoyed Nuts. I haven’t read Winter yet because I’m behind on the series, but I hope to catch up soon! I’ve found myself spending less and less time on Facebook and Twitter. I’m so tired of the negativity and the ranting and the homophobia, racism and everything else. It tires me. It’s making me really dislike some people who I once felt very close to. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion… and I’m just as entitled to NOT have to listen to it/read it.
I hope you have a great week!
That’s a Wrap Weekly
My copy of Illuminae was supposed to arrive last week, but I’m still waiting 😦 I read November 9 already, and I loved it! I hope you will too.
Hopefully, you’ll have some nicer humans to deal with next week.
Have a fantastic week ahead and happy reading.
That sucks, hopefully it comes in soon! Thanks Lexxie!
I Love the cover of nuts, it is simple but it works! Sorry you had to deal with a jerk.
Your purchased books are AWESOME. I love November 9 and Nuts. I plan to read Winter over the Thanksgiving weekend 🙂 eep. Let’s hope this week truly is 100 times better for you!
I can’t wait to get started on all of them. I started the first chapter of November 9, I’m hoping I can get into it over the holiday.
“Humans” is a great way to sum up a terrible week. Every day I see things that both amaze, and disgust me, due to humans. But on a lighter note, I’m working my way through The Lunar Chronicles – Winter sounds so good!

I try to spend as much time as possible in my bubble to avoid humans. They can definitely be trying! Your books are great this week. I pretty much want to read all of them but especially Winter and Nuts. Have a great week!
