The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. ~ Inspired by the meme In My Mailbox.~ It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
Another week gone! I haven’t been doing much this week. Mostly eating and filling my life as much Star Wars as possible. I’ve been watching Clone Wars on Netflix and it’s been a ton of fun, especially since I’m reading the newest books as they come out. I’m also working on watching Hemlock Grove, I’m almost done with season one. I can’t decide how I feel about it. I sort of hate it, but it’s addicting and I need to know what’s going on.

Hemlock Grove is a show I eventually want to get to. Now I’m really curious from your comments. It’s been so damn long since I’ve watched anything Star Wars, but I’m getting juiced up to watch all the movies sometime soon.
It’s definitely one you should try out, but I make no guarantees you’ll enjoy it, lol! I was really loathing the idea of new Star Wars stuff at the beginning of the year, but reading the books and rewatching Clone Wars has me excited.
I’ve never even heard of Hemlock Grove… I must check it out! I don’t have Netflix but I usually read enough entertainment sites that I’ve heard of most programs (and I’m always looking for new stuff to watch!).
It’s a weird one! I think it’s a Netflix exclusive though.
I have never heard of your books but they look great! I have to take a look at some of them. HAve a great week!
Thanks for stopping by!
Star Wars is awesome, and I’m getting pretty pumped for the new movie. Everything about it looks good, but I’m afraid they’ll screw it up. The Star Wars book I read recently got me in the mood for the new stuff, definitely.
I’m the same way. The trailer was…okay? I wasn’t all that excited for the movie because of the trailers to be honest. The one promo picture of Gwendoline Christie, was pretty much the saving grace for all the movie stuff because she looks epic. The books are what’s pushing my need for the new movie. I’m reading Heir to the Jedi now, and then diving into The Dark Disciple as soon as possible.
I read a Star Wars novel that was set on a prison ship and also had zombies. I cannot remember the name of it but it was a lot of fun. It’s in the back of my mind to seek out more because it was really enjoyable.
That sounds like Death Troopers! I haven’t read it, but I’ve heard about it and it’s on my wishlist to buy.
I am so clueless, I have never heard of Hemlock Grove. I will have to Google it. I will be on the look out for your review of The Library at Mount Char. i also need to start looking at your Wreck This Journal posts. Have a wonderful week. 🙂
It’s a Netflix exclusive so that might be why you missed it. My review of The Library is up now! And hopefully i’ll have another WTJ post in another week or so.
I’ve not heard of Hemlock Grove, but sounds intriguing will check it out.
Have a good week!
Thanks Heather!
I really liked Clone Wars and didn’t expect to at all. I’ve actually been liking the new Rebels show as well. From what I’ve heard about Hemlock Grove I’m not sure about it either. I’ll hear something and think “Oh I have to watch that” then I’ll hear something else and think “eh not for me.” Have a great week!
It’s actually really good! Plus I’m getting excited because things I thought were wiped from the EU have been mentioned in the show! Rebels has been a lot of fun too, it’s taking me a little while to get use to the animation style but it’s a good show. Hemlock is one of those shows you’ll have to try in order to know if you’re going to like it, it’s definitely different than I was expecting.
