The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. ~ Inspired by the meme In My Mailbox.~It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms and moms-to-be out there! I hope you’re having a fantastic day!
So my post is late, but better late than never I guess. This week has been fairly uneventful. I spent two days alphabetizing three more sections of the store. But most of the time I just didn’t do much of anything because I feel like someone has been hitting me rocks. But it’s a new week, and hopefully I’ll get to see Avengers on Wednesday. Though at this point with all the spoilers everywhere I suppose I don’t really need to.
I slowed down on reading this week as well, but I have several to finish in the next few days so that should change.

- Deception’s Pawn by Esther Friesner
- Witch Born by Amber Argyle

I really need to read more of Jodi’s books, great haul!
Missie @ A Flurry of Ponderings
This will be my first book by her!
I have several of Jodi’s books but yet to read them. I get so excited and grab new ones, then can’t seem to find time to start on them. I hope to fix that this summer:)
My Sunday Post – http://fuonlyknew.com/2015/05/10/whats-new-on-my-bookshelf-108-and-the-sunday-post/
This will be my first Jodi Picoult book, it’s really cute so far! I
I’ve got to get over to Sync!
Yes, go go! I’m excited about this year’s lineup
Oooh, I didn’t know Sync had started again already!!! Thanks, Michelle! 😀
You’re welcome!
I want to see the Avengers movie, but at this point may wait for it to come out to pay per view. The whole debate about whether he is a misogynist has turned me off. My post: http://fangswandsandfairydust.com/2015/05/back-to-the-garden.html
Joss a misogynist? I wouldn’t think so, he’s always advocated for strong female characters. I think the movie suffered because of his battle with the executives of Marvel, on what should go into the movie and what should be left out. It’s my understanding that he wasn’t happy with the way the movie turned out.
Hope you get to see Avengers, I saw it the other day and while I had some quibbles with it, it’s big and fun and hey… Avengers. Gotta see it. 🙂 I know what you mean about spoilers though, seriously as I was watching it struck me how many of the big scenes I had already seen on the internet. Oh well…
That Fandom of the month club sounds very cool!
It was a pretty cool box! I’m already antsy to see the May one!
The new Jodi Picoult’s are YA novels aren’t they? I hadn’t heard of them before but read something about a new release this past week.
Yes they are YA! So far Between the Lines is super cute!
The Off the Page cover art is off the hook! I don’t know if I like this new trend of the author’s name being HUGE and the title tiny, though. I have no Idea what it is about, so I need to check it out on Goodreads. Yes Sync! I downloaded Rebecca, but not Beautiful Creatures. Lol. I am really late at making my Sunday Post rounds (I am finally posting a SP again), so I hope your week improved. 🙂
