The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. ~ Inspired by the meme In My Mailbox.~It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
This week I focused on three books from my TBR pile and a ton of graphic novels/comic. My tabletop day sale order came in on Thursday and I can’t wait to try them out today. I’ll be starting a once-a-month feature for tabletop games called Let’s Play. It will focus on reviews, hauls, kickstarters, or any other tabletop goodness I feel like I need to share. So I’ll also be posting my tabletop game hauls on my Sunday Posts as well.

Oh, I completely forgot to mention it in my Sunday post, but I just borrowed Saga #4 at my library ! Enjoy and have a great week 😉
Oo, I hope you enjoy it! I have a love/hate relationship with the series, lol.
Looking forward to your new feature. I love tabletop games. I backed a Kickstarter sometime ago called Pirate Loot and I’m waiting for it to come in the post next month and I can’t wait to try it out 🙂 You should do a top 10 of your favourite ones, I’d love to see them. Have a great week Michelle.
I’ll have to look Pirate Loot up! I just backed one on Kickstarter called Salem, and it looks like a ton of fun. I would love to do a top 10 as well, thanks for the idea Trish!
YESSS your tabletop order is perfect Michelle! (why don’t we live closer to each other? I feel like we would be awesome friends!) I absolutely love Takenoko and Love Letter is pretty fun too, I bought Love Letter Batman a few weeks ago when I was in Sydney. I’ve learnt my friends aren’t big fans of co-op games though, so Forbidden Island doesn’t come out much. Have an awesome time Michelle!
I know, right?! All of the awesome people live such a long way away from me. We tried out Love Letter and Takenoko yesterday and loved both of them, especially Takenoko. We haven’t played Forbidden Island yet, so we’ll see how that goes…I don’t think my friends are big on co-op game either but it would be nice to have some non-competitive games to play.
Wicked and Divine sounds good, hope you enjoy and have a good weekend.
It’s incredibly good!
Ooops I got those review books too and forgot to post them. *slaps hand* I love your Let’s Play idea ..so cool to combine both passions. Hope you have a wonderful week Michelle
I totally forgot to post them last week ,lol. I’m glad you like the idea Kimba!
I really enjoyed The Maze Runner movie and have been meaning to try this series every since. Thanks for reminding me that I wanted to grab that one from the library. It looks like you have lots of great reading ahead of you. Enjoy!!
I hope you enjoy it Samantha!
I loved The Maze Runner. Still need to read Prodigy and Champion by Marie Lu. Hope you have a great week!
Check out my Sunday Post
The Maze Runner was a miss for me unfortunately, but I loved Prodigy. I still need to read Champion.
That’ll be a cool feature. Hope you enjoy your book and have a great week.
Thanks Christy!
I don’t know what tabletop games are. But, I am glad you are psyched about them!
Tabletops are just board games, card games, and RPGs…it’s just easier to label them as one thing then specify each one. 🙂
I haven’t heard of most of these authors, but I’m impressed with how much you read this week!
MY WEEK IN REVIEW
Have a great week!
It was definitely a good week for reading! Hopefully I can keep it up for the rest of the month, I have a ton of books to get to.
