Sunday Post (149)

Sunday Post
The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. ~ Inspired by the meme In My Mailbox.~

It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

A lot of highs and lows this week, so I’m hoping for a calm and happy week this week just so I can relax a bit. I went for a walk in the nature preserve a few miles away with the boyfriend and my dog, and watched a ton of movies (Lucy, Birdman, The Fault in Our Stars, &  Gone Girl). International TableTop Day was yesterday and of course I work, so I missed out BUT I’m heading to the comic shop today AND I took advantage of tabletop day sales on Amazon and I have a few that I picked up at a great price.

  • Harry Potter und dis Stein der Weisen (German edition of Sorcerer’s Stone)

My Harry Potter collection is coming along nicely. I’m still missing a few from several different sets, but I’m in love with the ones I’ve managed to find so far. I also managed to get the last Deluxe copy I was missing, but didn’t get a chance to get the photo from my phone.

I always find walking outside helps invigorate and restore me. And that’s nice that you have a nature reserve close by. Have a good week Michelle 🙂

I was just reading your about page and think it is amazing that you have your own business. That’s fabulous. Hope it does really well. And, you must have an entire unit book shelf of Harry Potter books!

  3. Finding Momo looks really fun. It’s on my wishlist. The Young Elite is one I’m interested in as well. Sounds like you watched some great movies and had some nice hiking. It’s finely getting warm enough for me to go outside and hiking is one of those things that I really need to do more. Have a great week!

  4. Oh I love that you are collecting Harry Potter in different cool. I hope the week ahead is serene!

A friend of mine had a day of games for Tabletop Day yesterday but I wasn’t able to make it. 😦
Love all the HP editions you have!

I like your books this week. Most are new to me and look fun. My week was like yours. Up and down. Maybe a walk would have been good for me too. I did watch a lot of movies also.

  8. Glass Arrows sounds good! Hope you enjoy and have a great upcoming week.

  9. Let me know how Glass Arrows is! I have been wanting to read that one as well ❤

  10. Angie F. says:

I really want to read My Heart and Other Black Holes! I hope you enjoy it! 😀

  11. Yippee, I got Glass Arrow from the library as well! Perhaps we should buddy read in a few weeks time? What did you play on International Tabletop day? We played Small World and it was so much fun. I only found out about the Amazon sales when it was too late!

    • Sure! I think mine is due back on the 22nd though, so let me know if you can fit it in before then. Unfortunately I didn’t get to play anything on Saturday, but I did play a game called Geek Out on Sunday which is a geek trivia game. I want Small World badly, but I just bought three games during the Amazon sale so I’ll have to wait a few months for that. I bought Forbidden Island, Batman Love Letter, and Takenoko.
