Art It Up (6) – Pumpkin Pumpkin!

Fan Art Up! is a weekly feature hosted by Tabitha @ Not Yet Read. It is dedicated to showcasing our Fan Art and doodles inspired by entertainment media, whether it’s Books, Movies, Anime, Comics, etc. Or even your random self inspired art! Break out those dusty art supplies!

I’ve making these pumpkins off and on all freaking Fall, because I’m really slow and inconsistent with my time. However I finally got 3 out of the 5 done, so I’m calling it complete for now. I’m using these to decorate my store during the Fall, and so far I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on them.

Please note: All books used for this project were already falling apart at the binding or destroyed beyond readability. I would never use a copy that could be passed on to someone else for a project like this.

Making these is super easy too all you need is:

– 1 Jar of Mod-Podge. It comes in different finishes, the one I used was Satin. I wish I had grabbed Matte. And one jar goes a long way so no need to buy one of the huge jugs unless you plan on making a ton of these.

– Old books that no one can read.

– Cheap fake craft pumpkins

So that’s it for this week’s art it up! Go check out Tabitha’s super cute doodles this week!

  1. Haha yes! Booky pumpkins! (I just got down chowing down on some seasonal pumpkin noosa yogurt with fresh blueberries dropped in. I know food completely unrelated to art right. I love pumpkinssssss why are they relegated to just a holiday food!
