Sunday Post (121)

Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. ~ Inspired by the meme In My Mailbox.~

It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

So this past week has been a crazy one…I can’t say much about what happened, but let’s just say it was sort of unexpected. However despite that I had an awesome weekend. Decatur Book Festival was yesterday and was awesome as usual! I picked up a few books and just walked around. I kept it low maintenance, no panels or signing lines, because I just wanted to enjoy browsing.

I’m 6 books behind on my Goodreads challenge…which is unacceptable. I’m hoping that with less stress I’ll get my drive to read back.

  • Red & Wolfe Part 2 – Ella James (18+ Novella)
  • Beast Part 1 – Ella James (18+ Novella)

This Week

I’m sorry your week was crazy, hope your weekend is zen at last. I gave up the GR challenge along the way, it stressed me too much ! I’ve got book #1 of Red and Wolfe, so I’m awaiting your point of view (but take your time, no stress here !). I hope you’ll like the Stieg Larsson book, I know I did. Have a better week ❤

  4. Glad to hear you kept the book convention low key, although you’ve had a busy week! Hope you’ve been well MIchelle, I’ve missed your blog!

  5. 6 books behind? I just realized I’m 10 ahead. You can have 4 of mine. 🙂

my week started crazy, but then slowed down. I thought I had read many fewer books in August because I had company, went to a workshop, had a big party. took my mom to the ER, etc. But, I was only one down!

  7. Sounds like you had an interesting week. YAY for finally getting that HP Paperback and yay for A Clash of Kings and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest. Have a great week!

  9. You tease. I hope the unexpected was a good thing and that you soon find yourself 6 books ahead.

  10. Ohh that Goodreads challenge taunts me every time I log in. I’m just managing to stay on schedule, and it’s annoying! I really wanted to be much further ahead that I am. Hope you have a much better week this week, and happy reading!

  11. Hope everything is okay. 6 books behind is still doable – especially this early in the year. That’s just one good reading stretch to get you back on track!

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed it, leave a comment and tell me what you think.
