What if love was like gasoline? Light a match and become engulfed in it’s flame.

Cheyenne is attempting to run into the arm’s of her betrothed Collin, when fate intervenes and she becomes trapped at her family’s cabin with another man. Luke, a ranch hand at her father’s farm, makes her heart race. When the lights go out, she finds herself falling into his arms, and into his bed.

This is a serialized set of erotic romance titles. Ablaze is the first installment and it is novella length.

Ablaze is a bite sized morsel that left me wanting to know more about the characters and what would come of them in book two. Obviously this is a rather short story but instead of rushing the reader along until the sex scene, Morgan actually spent most of the time letting us get to know Cheyenne and Luke. Cheyenne has a rather interesting life, being the daughter of a weathy rancher she has had much of her life handed to her and while she knew of the lack of freedom she never had a reason to doubt her happiness.Until she winds up stuck in a blizzard with a ranch hand named Luke. I really liked seeing them slowly get use to each other’s company, before succumbing to alcohol induced passion. I look forward to seeing how Cheyenne deals with her parents and Collin (her somewhat assumed match), and how well her and Luke will keep it a secret.

How far would you go for the perfect body?

After answering an ad guaranteeing instant, miraculous weight loss Sarah Mayhew is pulled into a nightmare she can’t wake from. A knock at her door brings her face to face with a shadowy man who offers what she wants for a terrible price.

Sarah finds herself thrust into an erotic game where she doesn’t know the rules but the stakes are all too clear.

Will she triumph? Or will she fall prey to the demon’s seductive manipulations?

Devour is the first part of the Reluctant Succubus serial novel. It is a 7,000-word story of dark bargains, hot demon sex, and oral addictions. Recommended for adults only.

So right off the bat Devour promised something different and slightly on the edge of being too much…and it delivered. The ‘deal with the devil’ angle was pretty interesting and I really liked how Sarah essentially chose her own price. After struggling to lose weight and get the body she’s always wanted she desperately tries one of those ‘miracle weight loss’ ads and gets way more than she bargained for. Her desperation has lead her directly into rather unusual situation and she unknowingly chose to become a succubus as the price for her now perfect form. I’ll be honest if you like vanilla sex scenes then this is definitely not for you, because there is one scene that is really far from normal. In fact some of it’s sort of harsh and the word choice is enough to make you wince. I’m hoping book two has the same amount of interesting back-story as this one did, though I honestly hope it doesn’t get too much weirder.

  1. Great mini reviews for some sexy reads Michelle! The book synopsis for Devour sounds completely up my alley but yeah, I’m not one for weird sex scenes.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed it, leave a comment and tell me what you think.
