The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. ~ Inspired by the meme In My Mailbox.~
It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
So now that December has kicked off and I’ve had time to get somewhat in the mood for Christmas, the craze of gift buying as begun and my Christmas tree looks like a gift bag factory exploded underneath it. In reality it’s just my wallet exploding…

- The Shadow Hero by Gene Luen Yang & Sonn Liew

- Allegiant by Veronica Roth (An early Christmas present from my boyfriend)
Glad you got Allegiant. I need to be brave and read it, I bought it on release day and keep looking at it..LOL Do you know I haven’t even started Christmas shopping yet..eek gads I need to man up and start.
I did the same thing with Insurgent, so I made a point to start this one immediately before I chicken out. I HATE christmas shopping so I do it as quickly as possible, lol
I’m glad someone is getting some Christmas shopping done, cause I’ve hardly started either. I need to get moving… I see you reviewed Breadcrumbs, I’ll have to check that out since I was looking at that in a bookstore a while back. Thought it looked like a good read…
Yeah I don’t like dealing with the Christmas crowd anymore than I have to. So I got out twice and then I’m done.
I have a copy of Allegiant that I still have not read, but I want to read it in December 🙂 I hope we both enjoy it!
So do I! I have so much hope for it, I’m trying to lower my expectations though. I don’t want to be upset if it can’t meet them.
I am about to start Allegiant. I hope that you enjoy it!
Awesome! I hope you enjoy it as well!
Great update and what a sweet haul! Happy Reading! The Sunday Edition @ Paulette’s Papers And be sure to check out Fill Your Stockings With Books Giveaways this week!!
Thank you.
Gotta love early Christmas presents! 🙂
Yes! Especially when they’re books!
Yeah, we put our tree up this week, so I’m starting to feel more in the Christmas mood. I’m pretty much finished with shopping already, except a couple of things. Enjoy your books Michelle.
We still have to put the outdoor decorations, but the rain won’t quit so we haven’t had a chance. Once those are up I’ll feel better about the holiday season being here…
Oh yes, ’tis the season. lol. I love seeing trees with gifts under them. 🙂 Sounds like you are doing great with the holiday’s.
Have a great week!
I too have a Sunday Post up this week, abide a bit late. 😉

Lol, I’m a bit annoyed with the gifts right now. I do all the wrapping for the family (minus my own gifts) and I literally can not walk near my personal tree because the presents are so numerous. Once the main christmas tree goes up, which much bigger I’ll move everything.
I enjoyed Allegiant and hope you do too
Thank you 🙂
Is your boyfriend prepared to make you cry? haha I haven’t gotten to it yet.. but I have heard it has #ALLTHEFEELS lol. off to visit your review of The Archived! http://thepassionatebookworms.com
Lol, probably not! I think I’m ready for it, I have tissues and chocolate just in case a major feels moment happens.
Christmas shopping? lol I am a last minute shopper, which I will be doing this week. 🙂 Enjoy your new books. I can’t wait to read Allegiant.
Thanks for stopping by my Sunday Post.
You are brave and patient, lol. Anytime I do last minute shopping I immediately want to forget the presents and just give someone a box with the word rain check on it.
Well done with the Christmas shopping, I’m still in denial about how close it actually is! And good luck with Allegiant (I liked it!), I hope you’ve managed to avoid spoilers so far :O
I have! Most of the people I follow are really good about censoring themselves, so I haven’t had anyone ruin it. 🙂
