Sunday Post (45)

Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. ~ Inspired by the meme In My Mailbox.~

It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

It’s another one of those boring weeks where I have absolutely nothing new to update you on, lol. My life tends to lean toward the boring more often than not, so it’s nothing new…but I wish I had some awesome to tell you, like I went skydiving and dyed my hair purple. (I’m afraid of heights and scared of dying my hair…) The most interesting thing that happened this week was my purchase of 50 random Marvel comics for $22, so now I’m waiting by the door until they get here and I can see what I got. I did try to teach my dog to bring me the mail…but I just ended up with wet mail all over the living room. So there you go, that was my week!

  4. I’ve heard amazing things about Every Day, hope you enjoy it. And what a nice score on the comic books! Hope you enjoy!

  5. I’ve been wanting to read Everyday for quite awhile now. Have a great week!

  6. ha..for someone who professes to have a boring life your opening made me giggle, between the purple hair and dog getting the mail I almost choked on my coffee! Every Day was wonderful! Enjoy The Sunday Post

  7. I keep forgetting to get Every Day from the library when I go. It’s supposedly really good. And I just finished Splintered last night. I’ll def read your review once I write mine. I wanna see what other people thought of it so bad, but I don’t want it to influence my review. lol. My Sunday Post

  8. What a lovely recap for the week! Happy Reading!!! My Sunday Edition @ Paulette’s Papers

  10. Looks like you had a great week here and collecting. 🙂

Hope you have a great reading week this week.

    My Sunday Post:

  11. Oh, cool, you reviewed Splintered! I’m reading it now. I will come back once I’ve written a review and see what you had to say. (I try not to read other reviews too close to writing mine — I’m afraid it will influence me, or that I’ll feel intimidated by someone else’s incredibly well-written review and end up tongue-tied, so to speak.)

    Have a great week!

  12. Pragya says:

LOL about teaching your dog to bring in the mail. Maybe if you keep at it, one day he/she’ll learn. Ah, Marvel comics, so that’s why you would have identified all the more with Blaze. I have no idea what they are like. *hides*

    • Lol, I might keep at it…so far she just thinks I’m handing her something to shred. And yes! I love comics, so I adored Blaze. It’s okay if you don’t know what they are like, but I think they are a ton of fun to read.

      • Pragya says:

Aww, poor thing. Did your mail survive? lol. I will have to check out what they are like and you bought 50? Wow!

P.S. Thanks for bringing Blaze to the forefront of my list, I could really do with something funny right now. I have been sick past few days and it’s no fun. I’m loving Blaze. 🙂

      • Luckily yes, it did survive but it was kind of gross…lol. Yep, 50 and now I have no clue where I”m going to put them when they get here. I might have to make some closet space.

      • Pragya says:

Ah, closet space. Always so difficult to make when you go on a book/comic buying frenzy like this. lol. All the best.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed it, leave a comment and tell me what you think.
