The Sunday Post (29)

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. ~ Inspired by the meme In My Mailbox.~

It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

This week has been a bit odd when it comes to being productive, because even though I’m doing stuff I still feel like I didn’t do all that much. I spent a few days cleaning out my attic and re-boxing things, so that was fun until my back started hurting. Then of course there is NaNoWriMo, which I am now at 30,000 words!! So Only 20,000 more to go. I’m positive my WIP will not be finished at 50k but it’s definitely a fantastic start. Plus I have a manuscript to read, plus my owns books and work to do on the blog.
I’m also changing up my Sunday Post format because I’m tired of the other way I was doing it.

  1. Don’t you hate that! It seems like you’re doing so much. Hope your back is feeling better. I have The Way We Fall right here… soooo need to read it!

  2. Wow busy week and cool job on the writing. I personally love WoW and so do pubs, I cannot tell you how many have contacted me and offered an ARC after I featured a book. Love the lay-out for your post. Have an awesome week! The Sunday Post

    • I’ll probably end up doing it because I have no shortage of book wishes, so it’s bound to be a permanent fixture for the blog, lol. I had no idea that pubs looked at those, and that’s really cool that they take notice like that.

  3. Jeez, you really have had a busy week… I have to go in our basement this week and get all the Christmas decorations. I try to avoid the basement at all costs… Have a wonderful week..

  4. I know exactly what you mean by feeling like you’re working like crazy but not really seeming like you’re getting a lot done. You’ve done great with NaNoWriMo though! Even if you don’t hit 50k, you’ve done so well when you add it to all of this stuff (which takes a lot of time, we all know).

I ended up quitting my WoW because while it was easy and fun to put the post together, I was spending a couple of hours leaving meaningful posts on other people’s WoWs and it was too much. I didn’t want to do the hit and run, “great pick” so I tried to come up with something to say and to make friends, you know? I got so tired, so I stopped.

  5. Congrats on cleaning up the attic. I don’t think I can even get into my attic. That would be much needed storage space if i could though. *sigh*

I’ve read Undeadly but I haven’t posted my review of it yet. I’ll have to come back and check yours out. You got some good books in this week too! Happy reading and Happy Thanksgiving!

Check out my IMM & SP.
