The Sunday Post (22)

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. ~ Inspired by the meme In My Mailbox.~

It’s a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Compared to the busy week I had this currently week has been so slow that I’m pretty sure I’ve nearly lost my mind a few times. It almost seems like everything is moving as slowly as possible, even my reading speed has dropped to a ridiculously slow pace. I mean the most exciting thing I’ve done this week has been watching the Avengers for the third time (which is still great) and learning how to change brake pads on a car. Mind numbing…

The Reviews:

Untraceable by S.R. Johannes

The Infects by Sean Beaudoin

Cover Reveal:

Release by M.R. Merrick

I’d love to hear what those who have read the series think of it, I haven’t had the chance to read the first one but I own it. So it would be awesome if you checked out the post and cover, and left me a few comments telling me what you think. I personally think it looks pretty cool.

This week’s Saturday Issue features the second issue of Flashpoint. If you thought the world of DC was crazy before then you haven’t see what happens in Flashpoint…everything has changed, and it’s pretty intense.

The Kindle Deals have been posted and as always there are some great deals to check out! Sweet Venom by Tera Lynn Childs is currently free so that’s certainly one you should grab before it goes back up in price.

Cold Light by Jenn Ashworth

I won this from HarperCollins through Goodreads’ First Reads program. The blurb for this made it seem really interesting and kind of dark, so I look forward to seeing how it turns out.

Crave by Melissa Darnell

Sweetly by Jackson Pearce

I won these from Amy at Denim-Jacket Librarian during her Cleaning Shelves giveaway! I received Crave from Netgalley awhile back but never had the chance to get to it, so I’m happy I have it now.

Nice haul. I still haven’t seen the Avengers, my daughter told me it was awesome. Enjoy your week ahead.

  6. Sometimes we need a slow week. I’m in the middle of reading Crave myself right now. Only about 30% through it.

    • Last week was a rare busy week and though I was scatterbrained through it all I enjoyed it. I don’t have a lot going on around me so I welcome when things get a tad bit hectic, it breaks up my normal routine.
