It’s Monday! What Are You Reading is where we share what we read this past week, what we hope to read this week…. and anything in between! This is a great way to plan out your reading week and see what others are currently reading as well… you never know where that next “must read” book will come from!
Since last Monday I’ve finished three books and I’ve posted reviews for all three.
- Behemoth – Scott Westerfeld
- Zombies Vs. Unicorns
- The Mephisto Covenant – Trinity Faegan (ARC)
Currently reading:
- Darkfever – Karen Marie Moning
Will start soon:
- Tenth Grade Slays – Heather Brewer
- The Gunslinger – Stephen King
- Trigun Maximum #1 – Yoshuiro Nightow

If you were (are) going on vacation, what books would you take with you?
Oh how I wish this were actually the case. Anyway in all reality I’d only take one book and my Kindle along just so I won’t have to lug a bag filled with books around. But if I truly were to leave for vacation, say tomorrow, here are the actual books I’d pack.
- Darkfever – Karen Marie Moning
- The Gunslinger – Stephen King
- Full Metal Alchemist (it has the first three volumes in it)
Those on my kindle that I’d probably try to tackle would be
- The Tigress of Forli – Elizabeth Lev (ARC)
- First Frost – Jennifer Estep
I am not going on a vacation (sadly) but if I was I would take my favourite book, Anna Karenina. Have a wonderful week and enjoy your books.
My Monday: http://www.rundpinne.com/2011/08/its-monday-what-are-you-reading-51.html
I loved Leviathan, so I must consider setting aside time for Behemoth. I started Zombie’s and Unicorns and then decided that my brain wasn’t in the right place for it. Happy reading.
Yes Z Vs U, is one of those books that you have to be in a certain mood for. I think if I had gotten this book at the wrong time I would have hated it, or at least parts of it.
I would take my Nook, but I know I may not read anything. I read at home..and at work..but not on Vacation.
I do all my vacation reading on the way to and from the destination. It’s surprising how much I can read when I’m stuck in a car for 8 hours.
I hope you enjoy Dark fever – I have been wanting to read this one!
So far I am. It’s one of those books where I want to hide somewhere and just devour it.
How was Zombie v Unicorns? It looked interesting. If I were going on vacation, I’d take a Robert Jordan book and Les Miserables. Should last me a while! 🙂 Good question.
Good choice, Jordan’s Wheel of Time books are on my to read list as is Les Miserables . I really liked Zombies v Unicorns, it’s a little odd but some of the stories are wonderful. There are of course a few that are kind of stupid though.
